Delete your Bendie Planner account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Bendie Planner account and what happens to your information. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Bendie Planner and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Review the information shown and confirm your request.
Your account access is removed immediately and you are signed out on that device. Associated personal information is deleted from active systems as part of the deletion process, except for de-identified event records and temporary backups described below.
2. Ask us to delete it by email
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email support@bendie.app from the email address used for your Bendie Planner account. Use the subject line “Delete my Bendie Planner account”.
We may ask you to confirm the request before acting on it so we can verify that it comes from the account owner. We will complete the account-deletion request within 30 days and email you when it is complete.
3. What we delete
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile information, including your name, email address, job title and gender.
- Your profile photograph.
- Your access to every event assigned to your account.
- Your notifications and notification settings.
- Devices registered to receive push notifications for your account.
4. What we retain
Some records form part of an organization's event workspace and are needed by the remaining event team. Where those records must remain, we remove their association with your deleted account and remove or replace your name.
- Tasks, checklist items and vendor items you created or updated.
- Notes added to tasks, shown as written by a “Former member”.
- Event documents uploaded to the organization's workspace, such as venue blueprints, without your account attribution.
Organization-controlled event information, such as schedules, attendee lists and travel arrangements, is not deleted as part of an individual Bendie Planner account request. To ask about that information, contact the organization responsible for the event or email support@bendie.app.
5. Backups and completion
Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are securely overwritten under our controlled backup-retention schedule. It is isolated from normal use and is not used for any other purpose during that period. If a backup must be restored for disaster recovery, the deletion request will be reapplied.
We may also retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or resolving a dispute. Any such retention is limited to the purpose that requires it.
